Trade winds will increase today, becoming locally breezy this afternoon through Tuesday. Moisture associated with a dissipating front is expected to bring an increase in windward showers starting this afternoon on Kauai, and across the remainder of the state from tonight through Tuesday night. Winds will shift to the southeast and weaken on Wednesday, with light winds and afternoon seabreezes then prevailing into next weekend. Additional fast moving fronts may bring periods of increased showers toward the end of the week, and again during the upcoming weekend. Updated: 01/04/2016 3:38 am HST
