A surface ridge just north of the state will keep winds light, leading to onshore sea breezes and interior clouds and showers during the afternoon. A cold front to the northwest will weaken as it moves across Kauai tonight, then dissipate over the central islands on Wednesday. Another front will approach late in the week, also dissipating over the islands Friday night into Saturday. A weak surface ridge will build just north of the state over the weekend.
