HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR NORTH FACING SHORES
Surf along north facing shores will be 12 to 15 feet through Thursday. Surf along west facing shores will be 5 to 9 feet through Thursday.
Surf along east facing shores will be 2 to 4 feet through Thursday, with some sets to near 6 feet along exposed outer reefs exposed to swell wrapping around from the north.
Surf along south facing shores will be 1 to 2 feet through Thursday.
Outlook through Tuesday Oct 26: the current north northwest swell will gradually diminish on Friday. A smaller northwest swell arriving Saturday afternoon will build Sunday and peak on Monday. This northwest swell will slowly subside next Tuesday. Small background surf will continue along south facing shores. As the trade winds strengthen later this weekend, expect locally generated wind waves to produce choppy surf along east facing shores early next week.
